Long Play Album Art
February 9 is going to be a big day for Brandon Kinder; Long Play, the first full-length he’s recorded as The Wealthy West, will finally be released. Kinder, who fronts TBI-alums The Rocketboys, has been writing and recording as TWW for the last few years, releasing an eponymous debut EP in early 2011.
Between a number of commercials, TV shows, and independent films, there’s a good chance you’ve heard his music at some point — whether with The Rocketboys or as The Wealthy West. Most recently, “The Highest Tide”, which will be included on Long Play, was featured on “Reign“, the hit program on CW.
For the video for “I’ve Got To Go”, the second release from the album, Kinder teamed up with director Chris Phelps, who shot over 14,000 still photos — eventually settling on 6,000 to comprise the stop-motion video.
Pre-orders for the album will be available on January 26.
